Gavin is the president of the Toronto Film industry Art's and Entertainment Foundation (TFI). He trained as an actor at the Toronto Film school and has been working in the industry as an awarding winning actor and producer on a variety of projects such as feature films, short films and live theater. Gavin had also deticated his life and career to helping others navigate thier way through thier own careers by founding the TFI foundation, which provides many services, products, workshops, seminars, networking events, casting calls, film projects, memebers club house and more.

Pino Halili
Pino Halili

Pino holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and Audio Engineering degree from the Trebas Institute of Recording Arts, where he was awarded the Pierre Juneau Scholarship. Beginning his career as Lead Engineer for Cherry Beach Studios he freelanced at studios throughout Toronto including Sony, CBC, Puck’s Farm Studio, and Sounds Interchange (now Technicolor). Pino later joined Deluxe Toronto where he oversaw the integration of Digital Workstations into traditional analog mixing stages. Together, the team launched some of Canada’s first premiere digital mixing theatres. Pino co-founded Post City as one of Toronto’s premier full-service post-production facilities where he continues to oversee the successful completion of clients projects.  He also mentors filmmakers at the Toronto Film School, and recently co-produced Juarez 2045, a sci-fi action film starring Danny Trejo (Machete, Grindhouse).

 

Prasanna Paul
Prasanna Paul

Prasanna Paul is a visual effects supervisor from Toronto, Canada. Before joining the Post City team, Prasanna has been visual effects artist and producer for 6 years. He has also worked as visual effects supervisor for Ogilvy & Mather and responsible for the visual effects and motion graphics aspect of the production, assisting with shoots and edits as necessary. His clientele includes clients such as Tim Hortons, Coke, Huggies and IBM Dove, Nabob, Kotex, Windex, Huggies, Cadbury, Scotia Bank, Heart and Stroke Lottery, plus more. Prasanna has also worked as a visual effects artist on AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead, DC comic’s Suicide Squad Hellmouth, Bitten and The Frankenstein Chronicles.

I believe every vision has a solution, which develops through our analysis of the creator's scope, and such, I have always focused on building close working relationships with filmmakers.

 

Ilias Adamis
Ilias Adamis

Ilias Adamis is an award-winning cinematographer and colourist. For more than twenty years he has delivered exceptional cinematography work on a variety of feature films, documentaries, TV drama series and more. Many of these films were selected and screened in international film festivals such as the Cannes Film Festival, Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale),Toronto  International Film Festival (TIFF), Montreal World Film Festival (MWFF) etc. 

His signature of work gave him a notable reputation and led to various nominations and best cinematography awards, namely

  • Athens International Film Festival 2013 for the Sssss
  • Hellenic Film Academy Awards 2013 for the THE DAUGHTER 
  • Athens International Film Festival 2014 for the PROSEFHI GREEK SCHOOL PRAYER

For the past couple of years, he has also been delivering his looks as a colourist in a variety of productions.

Chris Evangelou
Chris Evangelou
 

Chris Evangelou has been in the film industry for more than 16 years as a Commercial Director and has channeled his passion into color-correction for at least 10 of those. Also an ICA certified colorist, he sees color-correction as a very dynamic and eye-opening (literally) process, which has a cataclysmic effect on every project. He has worked on a variety of projects and finds great pleasure in adding his creative input on that last piece of the chain called colour correction

His system of choice is Filmlight’s Baselight.

Thomas graduated from Ryerson University with a Bcomm in Finance. However, he's always had a passion for music being a musician himself. Thomas is self-taught in sound editing, sound design, analog and digital synthesis, mixing, and mastering. 

Fun Fact: Thomas is currently putting the finishing touches on his debut EP.

Tessa Sarantopoulos
Tessa Sarantopoulos

Tessa is currently studying at Ryerson University where she is excited to pursue her BA in Media Production. With a passion for filmmaking, editing and marketing, Tessa is thrilled to be part of the Post City team where she is learning and sharpening her production and marketing skills.

 Prior to Post City, Tessa was a summer intern at Universal Music, Wax Records where she edited music videos for their social media posts.

 Tessa is an avid film buff and a huge Al Pacino fan… no surprise her favourite movies are The Godfather Parts 1 and 2.

 

Samantha Marie
Samantha Marie

Samantha is currently enrolled in her final year at the University of Ryerson. She not only attends the university as a student but has been working as a Research Assistant in the Sociology Department as well as serving as the Student Unions Vice President of Marketing. Besides working at Ryerson as a Research Assistant her professional career includes a decade of life saving as a lifeguard with more than ten life saving rescues by Samantha personally. Samantha worked at Kennedy House Youth Shelter as a youth resource worker where she created a resource book which the City of Toronto plans to mass distribute to every government building and convert into a phone a mobile application. Samantha has now joined the TFI foundation to lend her areas of expertise inorder to help broden the ways in which we can engaged and help support our members.
